Quote History & Price Negotiation / QuoteChat for Customers / Quote Editing and Comments
This feature provides a seamless way for admins/merchants to manage quotes, track history, and communicate with customers for efficient negotiation and updates.
- *View Quote History*:
- Navigate to the *Quote Requests* section.
- Select a specific quote to view its complete timeline, including updates, customer communication, and changes.
- *Edit the Quote*:
- Choose the product Edit Quote price and quantity.
- Browse the product to add or remove items.
- Adjust product quantities and prices as required.
- *Assign the Quote to a Customer*:
- Select the customer from the list or assign the quote to a new customer.
- Save the updated quote with customer details.
- *Update Quote Status*:
- Change the status of the quote to *Pending*, *Accepted*, *Rejected,* or any custom status.
This helps track the progress of the quote.
- *Add Comments and Reply*:
- Enter comments to provide clarity on changes or offer additional details.
- Send the updated quote and comments to the customer via email or WhatsApp.
- *Convert Quote to Order*:
- Once the customer approves the quote, click *Convert to Order.*
- This action will generate a formal order based on the quote details.
- *Communicate and Follow Up*:
- With Timeline feature to reply with updated quotes or respond to customer inquiries.
- Keep communication transparent and efficient.
By following these steps, admins can manage quotes effectively, negotiate prices, and ensure a smooth process for both the business and the customer.
