# How to Create Conditional RX Fields


Some eye-lens products require RX details like **SPH, CYL, AX, BC,** or **DIA**. Using **conditional RX fields** keeps the form simple and accurate, with certain values **dependent on others**—for example, Cylinder options changing based on Sphere. These dependencies should update **dynamically on the frontend**, showing only valid choices for each lens type or variant.

**Follow the steps below to create conditional RX fields using the app:**

1. **Create a Prescription Rule**: After creating the rule, click on the **Manage** button to add your conditional RX values.

2. **Conditionl Options:** Click on “Conditional Options” to Set RX Rules for Each Eye.

3. **Options**:- Now select the option(s) on which the other value depends, and configure your conditional RX rules accordingly.

4. **Another Parent Condition**:- You can add another parent condition by clicking the button, and based on the parent values, the dependent option’s values will be displayed on the front end.

5. Backend Setup : Make sure all RX options and dependencies are properly mapped in the backend based on how your lens products work.Click to apply to save Changes.

6. **Result / Storefront Check**: Go to your storefront → open the relevant product → navigate to the rule you created → check if the correct options appear based on customer selection

### Examples
### **Sphere → Cylinder**
The **Cylinder values** shown on the storefront will depend on the **Sphere value** selected by the customer.

### **Cylinder → Axis**
Similarly, the **Axis values** will depend on the **Cylinder value** chosen by the customer.
