# How to Display Product Images for Customization

If your product is displaying a blank canvas instead of the product image, you'll need to add the product's default images in Shopify. Our app uses these images as the base for customization.

# Steps:- 

1. **Open the Personalized Product Configuration : Shopify Admin** → **SB: Product Options** → **Personalized Product** → **Locate the product you want to configure** → **Click the *Edit* button**.

|| If the product is not listed, click **Add Product** and configure it before proceeding.

2. **Change the Background Type to Product Images :** Click the Side Menu (⋮) → Edit Side → Background Type → Select *Product Images* →

3. **Select the Product Image :  Click *Choose from Media*** → **Select the *Product Images* tab** → **Choose the desired product image** → **Click *Save***
After changing the background type to **Product Images**, you'll need to select the image that will be used for customization.

|| Note : **Note:** If your image is not available under **Product Images**, switch to the **Your Uploads** tab to select an image you've previously uploaded, or click **Browse Files** to upload a new image from your device

4. **Verify the Product on Your Storefront**: Open your Online Store → Navigate to the configured product → Verify the product image is displayed instead of a blank canvas → Ensure the customization area appears correctly on the product image
