# How to Send an Email Notification Using Klaviyo

This help guideline will help you set up the **Klaviyo integration** with our **Coming Soon** app and configure automatic email notifications for your subscribers, including subscription confirmation emails and product launch notifications.

# Steps:- 


1. **Create Your Klaviyo API Key**: Log in to your **Klaviyo** account. **→**  Go to **Settings → API Keys**. **→**  Click **Create Private API Key**.

2. **Connect Klaviyo with the Coming Soon App :** Open the **Coming Soon Products Presale** app in Shopify → Navigate to **Notifications → General** → Under **E-Mail Integration**, select **Klaviyo** → Paste your **Klaviyo Private API Key** into the **Klaviyo API Key** field → Click **Verify API Key** to connect your Klaviyo account.

3. **Verify the Integration :**  Click **Verify API Key** → The app will automatically create two metrics in your Klaviyo account (**Coming Soon Sign-up** and **Coming Soon Launch**) → It will also create two ready-made email templates, so you don't need to design them manually.

4. **Create Email Flows in Klaviyo** : In **Klaviyo** → Go to **Flows** → Click **Create Flow** → Select **Metric** → Create one flow for each event:
* **Trigger:** `Coming Soon Sign-up` → Add an **Email** step → Select the template **"Coming Soon — Thank you for subscribing"** → Turn the flow **ON**.
* **Trigger:** `Coming Soon Launch` → Add an **Email** step → Select the template **"Coming Soon — Product available"** → Turn the flow **ON**.

|| Recommended: In each email's settings, enable Transactional mode. This ensures the emails are sent to everyone who subscribed for notifications, not only to marketing-subscribed contacts.
That's it! The Thank You email will be sent when a shopper subscribes, and the Product Available email will be sent when the product is published.


### Available Variables for Your Email Templates
You can use the following variables in your Klaviyo email templates:
* `{{ event.customer_name }}` → Shopper's first name
* `{{ event.customer_full_name }}` → Shopper's full name
* `{{ event.customer_email }}` → Shopper's email address
* `{{ event.customer_phone }}` → Shopper's phone number (if provided)
* `{{ event.product_title }}` → Product title
* `{{ event.product_image }}` → Product image URL
* `{{ event.product_url }}` → Product URL
* `{{ event.store_name }}` → Your store name


||| Note: {{ event.product_image }} and {{ event.product_url }} should be used as an image source and a button/link, not as plain text.
