# How to Use POD Services with the Printful App in SB Product Personalizer

Integrating **Printful **with the Personalizer app means your store offers easy customization, while Printful takes care of printing, packing, and delivering straight to your customers.

In this guide, you will learn how to generate your Printful API key and paste it into the **SB Product Personalizer app** for integration. Once the integration is complete, you can perform customization in Printful for the selected product, and the same customization will automatically reflect in the Personalizer app. After that, any orders placed through your store will be sent to Printful, where you can review and place the order for fulfillment.


# Steps:

1. **Install Printful App**: Go to Shopify App Store ➜ Search for *Printful* ➜ Click [**Install **](https://apps.shopify.com/printful)to add it to your store. ➜ Create an account

2. Create your API token using this [**guide**](https://help.printful.com/hc/en-us/articles/4632388335260-What-should-I-know-about-API-key-to-API-token-migration?utm_source=chatgpt.com)

3. Go to *SB Custom Product Personalizer* → click *Integration* → under POD Integration,click *Configure*.

4. Paste your API Key → click *Connect* →Select the store → then click *Save* to complete the Printful integration.

5. Toggle the Switch on to integrate Printful on your store

6. Select your store, search for products, and enable the toggle to import unsynced products from Shopify.

7. To sync your store’s products, simply choose a Printful product, customize it with your design, and set up the product variations.
* Click **Import** to sync your store’s products by selecting a Printful product, adding your design, and configuring variations.

8. Go to **My products**, open the **Imported** tab, and click **Sync product** to connect your imported items with Printful.

9. Select the category of your product.

10. Click on All product, Select the category avccording to your products, and click click on the product you want to use

11. Choose your product, select the print areas, customize with text or graphics, then click **Continue** to proceed.

12. After clicking **Continue**, you’ll be able to review all your selected customization details on the next page

13. Go to your Shopify backend ➜ Add this product in the Personalizer app ➜ Select the product ➜ click to add product button

14. Open the product in the Personalizer app ➜ Click on *Edit side*

15. Select the **Printful **Type Handle from the dropdown (e.g., Front, Back, Sleeve left, Sleeve right) ➜ Choose the correct product image ➜ Click Update.

16. Go to the frontend ➜ Select the product ➜ Click on the Customize button ➜ Do the customization ➜ Click on Add to Cart ➜ Proceed to Checkout ➜ Place the order.

17. Come back to the backend ➜ Click on the Orders tab ➜ Check the placed order.

18. Check the order ➜ Review the customization details..

19. Go to Printful ➜ Navigate to the Orders section ➜ You will see the same order there.

20. Go to the order details ➜ Click on *Print files* to view the design ➜ Review the total amount ➜ Click *Complete order* to finalize it.
