Installation

Install Prescription Eye Lens visiting our listing on the Shopify app store, clicking install , and interacting with the prompts that follow.



With the app installed, it’s time to get started using it!

Setup/Configure app:

To configure and display prescription option on product page , please follow these steps:

Choose the Right Plan:

After installing the app, navigate to the app backend on your Shopify store and select the appropriate plan that best suits your needs.

Customize Settings: Go through the General settings to select the option as per requirement and save the settings.

Once the setup is complete, the app will automatically display prescription options and a button on the product page.

Create Rules to setup products as prescription option. :

You can create a rule to display prescription options for specific products, product groups, or all products. Easily customize settings within each rule to match your needs. Assign specific prescription options per rule and manage them under unique rule names. This allows you to organize prescription settings efficiently for different product groups, ensuring accurate customization and a seamless experience for your customers.

Steps to Set Up Prescription Options for Specific Products:

1 .Go to the App Dashboard – Open the app from your Shopify admin panel.
2 . Navigate to the Rules Section – Navigate to App settings.
Create a New Rule – Click on Add Rule



Enter Rule name


Select Specific Products – Choose the product(s) for which you want to enable prescription options.
You can choose for all products or specific products



If select specific products click on search products.


Select product and click on add product to save.


Click on save and publish button to save products.



4 . Set Prescription Options – Configure fields such as Sphere, Cylinder, Axis, or any other prescription details.



Save & Apply the Rule – Click "Save" to apply the rule to the selected products.

Once the setup is complete, the app will automatically display prescription options and a button on the product page.

Test on the Product Page – Visit the product page to verify that the prescription options appear correctly.

Manage Rules:

Easily edit or delete rules as needed. Modify rule names, prescription options, and assigned products to ensure accurate settings. You can also delete existing rules and create new ones whenever required for better customization and management.



Manage Lens Separately display on cart page:

Enable or disable separate lens display for the left and right eye by selecting the "Yes" or "No" option. This setting ensures that lens options are displayed separately on the cart page for better clarity and customization.


Prescription options:

Add Right Eye/Left Eye prescription options.

Use the default option to set values separately for the right and left lenses.
Create new options with custom option names and corresponding values, such as:
Base Curve
Diameter
Power
Sphere
Cylinder
Axis
Create new options:
Click on add new button



Enter option name and value





Then add rule or update rule by clicking add rule/update rule button.

Conditional Options:

Manage prescription options based on previous selections. You can set values that depend on a previously selected prescription option. Choose the primary option and define the dependent options and their values accordingly for a seamless prescription selection process. You can also manage these settings separately for the left and right eye.



Steps:
Click on conditional option -> click on add option set


Select depend on option:





Select sub options.



Select the value and choose the dependent sub-value based on the selected option.





Click on apply button



Result:

General Settings

Form Customization : choose the form layout which you want display on the product page.

Form on PDP :Display prescription options directly on the product page.




Popup:Show prescription options in a popup when the button is clicked.







* Sild drawer :Display options inside a slide-out drawer for a seamless experience.

2 . Translation

In the translation field, you can add translated text according to your store's language to display field names accordingly. This ensures that prescription-related fields appear in the appropriate language for your customers.

Right Eye Label → Right Eye (OD)
Left Eye Label → Left Eye (OS)





Choose Prescription Type (For Popup)
Title → How would you like to provide your prescription?
Subtitle → Please provide a valid prescription
Upload File Option
Title → Upload Your Prescription
Subtitle → Upload a PDF or an image file




Manual Entry Option

Title → Have your written prescription?
Subtitle → Our opticians will contact you if we require more information.
Enter Prescription Details
Title → Enter your prescription
Subtitle → You can find your prescription on the side of your box
Label (Same Rx for both eyes?) → Same Rx for both eyes?


Buyer Information Options

Title → For whom is this intended?
First Name Label → First Name
Last Name Label → Last Name



Buyer Agreement

Agreement Label → Agree to terms & conditions
Agreement Description → Do you confirm and take full responsibility that your contact lens order matches your prescription?
