# Show ETA Message with Shipping  on Checkout (Shopify Plus Only)

Displaying shipping methods along with Estimated Delivery Dates (ETA) on the checkout page helps customers make informed decisions and improves their overall shopping experience.

This feature allows you to show shipping options with delivery timelines directly during checkout. 

||| Please note that this functionality is available only for Shopify Plus stores.


# Steps:

1. **Theme Customizer**: From your Shopify admin, navigate to **Online Store → Themes**, then click **Customize** beside your active theme.

2. **Add ETA Widget to Checkout** :  Go to **Shopify Admin → Checkout Customization** → Open **Checkout editor** → Navigate to **Shipping Method** section → Click **Add Block** → Select **Delivery Date – ETA** → Position the widget → Click **Save**

3. **Create & Select Shipping Method on Product Page  : Click on **Create shipping method** → Popup will open → Choose display style (**Visual Options** or **Classic Dropdown**) → Add shipping methods (type & click **Add** or use **Sync from Shopify**) → Select required methods (Standard, Express, Free Shipping) → Click **Apply** → Choose the shipping method from the dropdown to link it with the ETA rule

4. **Save & Verify on Front Store** : Save → Open front store → Select a product → Add to cart → Proceed to Checkout → Enter shipping address → Verify ETA (Estimated Delivery Date) appears under each shipping method →  Add it into cart 
After enabling the widget, confirm it works correctly on your storefront.

5. **View ETA in Check out Page** :
