# Tier Pricing - SB Custom Product Designer

The **Tier Pricing** feature lets you create quantity-based pricing rules that adjust the price per unit based on the quantity the customer selects.

This feature helps you:
* Encourage bulk purchases
* Increase average order value
* Offer flexible discount structures
* Control pricing visibility for specific customers

### How Tier Pricing Works
When a customer increases the product quantity, the discount is automatically applied according to the quantity tiers you have configured.
### Example
* Buy 1–10 units → $100 per item
* Buy 11–50 units → $90 per item
* Buy 51+ units → $80 per item
The higher the quantity, the better the price.
This help guideline will guide you step-by-step on how to create and configure tier pricing in the app


# Steps: 


1. **Open Tier Pricing Section**: Log in to your Shopify Admin → Go to Apps → Click SB Custom Product Personalizer,From the left sidebar click Tier Pricing → Click the **Create Rule** button.

2. **Rule Name & Visibility**: Enter a name in the **Rule Name** field. (Example: **Bulk Discount) and select the Visibility**
Select who can see this pricing rule from the dropdown:
* **All Customers** – Applies to everyone
* **Logged In Only** – Only customers who are logged in
* **Logged Out Only** – Only guest customers
* **Specific Customer Tags** – Only customers with selected Shopify tags

3. **Configure Quantity Tiers & Labe**l  " Fill in the following fields:
* **Min Qty** : Enter minimum quantity (example: 1 )
* **Max Qty** : Enter maximum quantity (Leave empty for unlimited)
* **Discount Type** : Select from dropdown (Percentage (%)/ Fixed amount (if available))
* **Discount Value**: Enter the discount value(Example: 10 if Percentage 10% / 5 if Fixed = $5 )
* **Tier Label** : Example ( 10+ Items 10% Off)

4. **Add More Tiers (If Needed) : Click + Add Tier** Repeat the same process for:(Example :- Tier 2, Tier 3)

5. **Assign Product** :- Scroll down to Assigned Products → Click + Add Products (right side) → Select the products you want this tier pricing rule to apply to → Confirm your selection → Click Save (bottom right) to activate the rule

7. **Automatic Shopify Discount Creation** : Once you create and save the tier pricing rule in **SB Custom Product Personalizer**, a discount will be automatically created in the **Shopify** **Discounts** section. **Shopify Admin → Discounts**

6. **Test on Front Store:** Go to the front store → Select the product to which you have assigned the rule → Add the required customization → Click on **Continue** to proceed

7. **Verify Discount Application** : Check bulk discount tiers → Verify “Add more for higher discount” message → Increase quantity to see discount update → Add variants and confirm discount applies → Validate final unit & total price
