Request a Quote ‑ Hide Price App Documentation

Introduction


The Request a Quote ‑ Hide Price app lets you hide product prices on your Shopify store and replace them with a "Request a Quote" button. Ideal for businesses offering custom products or bulk orders, this app allows customers to submit quote requests, giving you control over pricing and customer interactions. It offers easy setup, customization, and an intuitive backend for managing quotes and customer details

Installation

Click on Install button.
With the app installed, it’s time to get started using it!

Configuration----


Enable the app embed block :
Navigate to App -> click on button to enable app embed button.



Enable the toggle and save the changes.



2 Enable app:

To activate app click on enable button.



Setup Products:

Setup product click on Add products.



select the way

All products: check the all products checkbox and click on save button to save changes.



Manual products: Click on manual product checkbox and navigate on products or collections



Click on search button to select products , select the products and click on add button to save products.



Save the settings, then visit your store to check if the app is working correctly. The button should now appear for the selected products.



Price Requests via Multiple Channels.


Navigate to app setting->Quote settings click on manage button.



Choose the radio button to way to get request

Set up a personalized inquiry form in the front or show the button label for the phone call facility.

Get Request on Phone


Select the call option and enter the contact number to receive inquiry on that phone.



Sure, to enhance user engagement, set up a personalized inquiry form on your website’s front page. Label it as “Get in touch” to encourage visitors to reach out easily. This approach creates a friendly and inviting atmosphere for inquiries.

With this functionality, you will get the calling number of that particular person who is looking to inquire about that particular product.

Get Request on Email


Select the email option and enter the Email ID to receive inquiry on that Email.



Customers will inquire about that particular product by submitting its Mail ID and revert them over there.

Select the WhatsApp option and enter the WhatsApp number to receive inquiry on that WhatsApp.



Customers can now easily get details about the product they are looking for on WhatsApp and help you to give you a massive reach along with easy product discovery.

Manage Request for Quote Labels:


Organize quotes using customizable labels for better tracking.

Navigate to the app setting-> Quote settings ->Request for quote Button Label



Edit the label name as you required

Customize the button style


Go to the Settings -> Quote settings click on manage button.

Click on Button style



Enable the toggle choose the colors and save the changes.

Hide Price and Add to Cart Button


Hide prices and the 'Add to Cart' button to encourage customers to request quotes. With these settings and features, admins can manage the visibility of the price and cart options directly from the app backend.




The Price will hide for the product which is setup as request for quote in app.

Cart to Quote:


This feature allows customers to directly send a request for a quote while adding products to their cart. From the cart, they can submit a quote request for multiple products at once, making it easy to inquire about pricing for various items in a single action.

Mange setting from app backend : Settings-> Quote settings click on manage

Create and personalize quote form(RFQ Form Builder)


Create customized quote request forms with an intuitive form builder.
With this feature, admin can add or remove input fields based on your business needs.

The selected fields will be displayed accordingly.

Go to the app and navigate Settings -> Quote form builder -> Click on manage button.



Default Form



Add new field:

Select the element and click on that to add new field



Check preview in form and save the settings.





Remove field: Click on cross button and save changes







Edit Field label name

Edit field label name with placeholder text, value, input field length, etc.





Translation:


You can add the translated text in this field according to your language preference, and the text for the title will appear as entered.
You can add content manually for specific language. Suppose your store language is "French " then you have to add content for French language and you can see added content in store frontend.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If your store has different language, then you have to manually add translated text in that language; otherwise, the default English language will be considered.









Redirect action


You are given here two possible options over here that would fulfill your

Success Message: Once a user submitted the form, display the message for completing that particular action.





You are allowed to Set the Content once the user submitted the pop-up form.

Thank You Page: After submitting the form, you are allowed to redirect that user to any particular page by simply pasting the URL of that page.



Once the user has submitted the details, you are then allowed to redirect to the URL page you want.

Navigate to the app >> RFQ products >> Select option All products OR Manual products



From here, You can Manage Product selection

Add Products: Navigate to Product tab select the products click on Add button and save the settings.





Remove Products: choose the products and click on delete button.



From here, You can Manage Request for quote Products based on products.

Add Collection: Navigate to collection tab select the products click on Add button and save the settings.





Remove Collections: choose the collections and click on delete button.



From here, You can Manage Call for Price Products based on category.

This feature enables customers to handle bulk inquiries .Customers can request quotes for multiple products in a single request.

Quote Requests


In the table given below, you are going to provide all the necessary data starting with the Quote ID, Relevance , Inquiry date, Customer Name, Email, Products, Quote Status (Open/Closed), and Actions (View Lead).



. All Inquiry:


All:This would be a list of all leads that you want to keep and follow up with


Primary:This would be a list of genuine leads that you want to keep and follow up with.


Spam:This would be a list of leads that are considered spam or irrelevant.


. Customer List:



Quote ID: Here you can set a preferred ID for the lead to manage it according to your preferences.
Relevance: A predicted score is generated based on the lead details to assess customer potential, such as Warm, Hot, or Cold.
Inquiry Date: The date the inquiry was made.
Customer Name: The name of the customer.
Email: The customer’s email address.
Products: The name of the products related to the quote.
Quote Status (Open/Closed): The status of the lead (Open or Closed).
Actions (View Lead): This section allows you to view the details of the lead.

Quote ID: Here you can set a custom prefix for the lead's Quote ID, allowing you to manage and categorize leads according to your preferences. This helps streamline the tracking and organization of quote requests based on your internal system.



MagicScore:

MagicScore is a feature that generates a predicted score based on lead details to assess the potential of each customer. The score categorizes leads as "Warm," "Cold," or "Hot," helping you prioritize and focus on the most promising leads. This tool enhances lead management by identifying high-potential customers and streamlining your sales efforts.

Advanced Quote Management ("Organized")


View Lead: View quote list request inquired by customers.
Convert to Draft Order: Change the quote into a draft order and send it to the customer for further review.
Manage Quote Status: Update the status of the quote (e.g., open, closed, pending) to track its progress.
Assign to Customer: Assign the quote or lead to a specific customer in the system.
Check Customer Details: View detailed information about the customer, such as name, email, and contact information.
Download Lead Details in PDF: Download a PDF version of the lead details for record-keeping or sharing with the team or customer.
Mark Lead as Spam: If a lead is identified as spam, mark it as spam to avoid further actions or notifications.
Reply to Lead: Respond to customer inquiries directly within the lead view, allowing you to continue communication or provide additional information.
Private Note: Use the private note tab to add internal notes for managing your leads effectively. These notes are visible only to your team for better lead tracking and communication
Tags:Add custom tags such as B2B, B2C, Enterprise, Government, Bulk, etc., and private notes to quotes for better context and easier management

View Lead:


This feature in the app allows you to manage and track the details of leads or quotes from customers. The following actions are available in the View Lead section:



Quick Access Quote via Side Drawer :Easily access and create quotes with the side drawer for streamlined operations and improved workflow.

Edit Quote/ Manage Quote Price and Quantity: Adjust the pricing and quantity of products for a quote.



Quote History & Price Negotiation / QuoteChat for Customers:

Enable real-time chat for customers to discuss and finalize quotes. With this feature, merchants can manage and communicate with customers, viewing the conversation history and quote requests. This will streamline the process of discussing prices and making adjustments in real time.



Reply to lead: reply via Email/WhatsApp.

Respond to quote requests through email or WhatsApp for convenience.





Quote Status: Manage status and Update.



Private Note: Use the private note tab to add internal notes for managing your leads effectively. These notes are visible only to your team for better lead tracking and communication.



Assign Customer: The admin can assign a quote request to a customer if they have received multiple requests with different emails. If they find that the requests are from the same customer, they can link them accordingly for easier management.





Custom Tags :

Add custom tags such as B2B, B2C, Enterprise, Government, Bulk, etc., and private notes to quotes for better context and easier management.



Due Date: The Due Date feature allows admins to set a specific due date for each quote inquiry based on their business requirements. This functionality ensures timely responses and helps manage customer expectations effectively.

-Admins can assign a custom due date to individual quote inquiries.
-The due date can be adjusted as per the nature and priority of the inquiry.
-Helps in tracking pending quotes and maintaining a streamlined workflow.
This feature ensures that no inquiry is overlooked and all customer requests are addressed within the specified timeframe



Convert Quote to Order:


This feature directly addresses the goal of converting leads into sales, which is critical for merchants focused on maximizing revenue. Merchants can seamlessly convert quotes into orders and share a direct link with customers to complete their purchase.

Go to the Quote requests-> View Lead

Copy link and reply via email or WhatsApp.

More action:The More Actions feature provides additional options for managing quotes efficiently:
- Download Quote as PDF: Save the quote details in a PDF format for record-keeping or sharing purposes.
- Resend Email: Quickly resend the quote to the customer's email if required.
- Mark as Spam: Identify and mark irrelevant or spammy quote inquiries to keep your dashboard clean.
- Delete Quote: Permanently remove unwanted or irrelevant quotes from the system.

These options enable seamless management of quotes and enhance overall efficiency in handling customer inquiries.



Manage Quote status:


You can create new statuses with custom names and manage all quotes based on their status, such as Open, Closed, Pending, High Demand, etc.









Create Quote:


The Create Quote feature in the app backend enables the admin to manually generate quotes for customers.

Admin can input Customer Details such as:

Name
Email
Custom Message

Additionally, the admin can:

Select Products and Variants to include in the quote.
This process is similar to when a customer submits a quote from the frontend. The admin has full control to create quotes directly from the backend for better flexibility and efficient management.

Spam Domains


With this feature, you can mention the email domains that are not valid or are flagged as spam. By using this feature, you can avoid generating false leads and ensure the quality of your leads.

With the export feature, admin can export the lead data in CSV file format.
