Display Estimated Delivery by Zipcode (Auto-Detect Enabled)
This helpdesk will guide you to configure ETA based on zip codes or pin codes with auto-detection enabled.
Once configured, the app automatically detects the customer’s location and displays the ETA accordingly. Customers can also manually change the zipcode from the widget to check ETA for different locations.
Steps:
- Create Rule: Go to ETA Rules settings and create a rule.

- Toggle the Switch On : Toggle the Switch On: Enable the ‘Show Zipcode Checker Widget’ option

- Add Zipcode : Enter individual zipcodes, zipcode ranges, or zipcode prefixes, then click Add to save.

- Enable Zipcode options :
- Auto-detect zipcode :- Automatically fetches the customer's location via IP. If it matches a configured delivery rule, the estimated delivery date is shown instantly — no manual input needed.
- Fetch zipcode from logged-in customer data :- Uses the customer's saved default shipping address. If no address is on file, falls back to IP-based detection automatically.
- Require valid zipcode for Add to Cart :- Blocks the Add to Cart button until the customer enters a zipcode that matches a valid delivery rule. If the zipcode is empty or unrecognised, the product cannot be added
After configuring the required options, click Apply to save the settings.

- Customize the Widget: Open the Zipcode Checker Settings popup to personalize the widget—edit the title, input placeholder, and button label; set messages for unserviceable and empty zipcodes; customize button and text colors (including hover); and use the preview to test with sample zipcodes. Finally, click Apply to save changes.

- Product Condition: Select the product conditions to decide where the ETA rule will apply (All products, Specific products, Collections, Vendors, or Product tags), then choose the inventory option to define whether the rule applies to in-stock, out-of-stock, or both products.

- Customize Settings: Customize the cutoff time, date format, and countdown timer settings as per your requirement.

- Select ETA Template & Add Lead Days: Choose an ETA template, then enter and customize the message you want to display, using lead days (shortcodes) to show the estimated delivery timeline. Click Save to apply all your changes.

Final Step:
Verify on the product page that the zipcode checker is visible and the auto-detected zipcode is appearing correctly, along with the ETA message based on your settings.
