How does the app identify product inventory(quantity)for Estimated Delivery Date ?

We are using product qty to decide whether it is out of stock or in stock.
Ex.
If product qty is 0 and in case marked as continue selling then it will be considered as Out of stock.
If Product qty is greater than 0 then it will be considered as in stock
