Set Up Multi-Language Support in RFQ

If your store serves customers from different regions, it’s important that your Request for Quote (RFQ) form is available in their preferred language. The RFQ app supports multiple language translations, allowing you to provide a smooth and localized experience for international customers.

Using the built-in translation feature, you can translate all key text elements such as:

  • Form labels and field names
  • Buttons and system messages
  • Customer email templates
  • Quote PDFs

This ensures customers can submit quote requests comfortably in their own language and receive responses that feel native to their region.

Steps:

  1. Open the Translations Section : Go to Shopify Admin β†’ Apps β†’ Request for Quote (RFQ) β†’ Translations

Here you can manage text for each language your store supports.

  1. Add a New Language: Click on + Add languages (top-right). β†’ Select language β†’ Click to add

  1. Translate App Content: Once a language is added, you can translate the following sections:
  • Quote PDF
  • Customer Email
  • Form Builder
  • General

Then, enter translations for the labels and text in the selected language.

  • Example 1: Spanish (es) We have already added Spanish translations in the backend. When a customer selects Spanish, the RFQ app interface automatically appears in Spanish.

  • You can update translations anytime from the Translations section.
