The Crop & Remove Background feature in the Product Options Personalizer app allows merchants to edit default images and enables customers to crop their uploaded images and remove their backgrounds directly from the storefront.

Steps:

1. Open the Product:- Shopify Admin → Apps → Product Options Personalizer → Open the Product Configuration

2. Select Image Element : Select the Image Upload/Image Choice element → Default Image → Click Edit.

3. Enable Crop & Remove Background for Customers : Select the Image Upload/Image Choice element → Media → Enable Allow Crop → Enable Allow AI Background Removal → Save.

4. Remove the Background: Open the Edit Default Image window → Click Remove Background → Wait a few seconds while the app processes the image → Review the result → Click Save to apply the background-removed image.

5. Crop an Image: Click Edit next to the Default Image → Drag and reposition the image within the crop area → Adjust the crop area as needed → Click Save to apply the changes.

6. Crop & Remove Background on the Storefront :- Open the product page on your storefront → Click Customize/Personalize → Upload an image using the Image Upload option → Click Edit on the uploaded image → Crop the image by dragging and adjusting the crop area as needed → Click Remove Background → Review the edited image → Click Save/Apply → Complete the personalization and add the product to the cart.
