Download Personalized Print Files
This guideline will help you download personalized print-ready files from customer orders using the Product Options Personalizer app.
Using this feature, merchants can easily access and download customer personalization files, uploaded images, custom designs, and print-ready assets directly from the order details page in multiple export formats.
Steps:
- Enable Printable File Generation: Shopify Admin → Apps → Product Options Personalizer → Settings → Find the Printable File Generation section → Click Enable → Click Save Changes to apply the settings.
- Open Personalized Orders: Navigate to Shopify Admin → Apps → Product Options Personalizer → Personalized Orders
- Open Download Print File Window: After clicking the Download print file button → A Download Print Ready File popup will appearr.
- Select File Format & Download :- Select the preferred file format based on your requirements → Adjust print settings such as DPI, Width, Height, and Bleed area if needed → Select the product view to download → Click Download
Available export formats include:
- PNG – Raster image format with transparency support
- JPG – Standard image format
- TIFF – High-quality raster format for professional printing
- SVG – Scalable vector format
- PDF – Bundled printable document
- AI / EPS – Vector files for design software
- DXF – Cut outline format for engraving or laser cutting
The system will automatically generate and download the customer’s personalized print-ready file.
